Join Sarv Ensemble on a concert of Persian classical and folk music, marking the beginning of Spring.
This year Sarv Ensemble performs original compositions and poetry exploring a more personal sense of spring in the mode Afshari as well as traditional repertoire.
This is followed by music from some of the many folk traditions across Iran, this time focussing on new arrangements of some less often heard instrumental and vocal gems from Khorasan, Balouchestan, and Kurdistan, and in a little detour to hear music from one of the neighbouring cultures, we will be joined by guest vocalist Mona Manouchehri.
